Timeout™ plug-in works by monitoring mouse and keyboard activity. This plug-in will respond to inactivity by exiting the record and/or locking the workstation. Timeout™ contains two timers: one for record exit, and another for workstation locking. With the Workstation locked, FileMaker Pro will be unavailable on the locked workstation until the specified password is supplied by the user.

Timeout™ is for both Macintosh and Windows platforms. The features include: 

• Exit any record after a specific amount of inactivity.
• Lock any workstation after a specific amount of inactivity. This blanks the screen, and provides a password dialog - effectively protecting your sensitive data from curious eyes.
• Specify individual passwords for each workstation.
• Exit any record when FileMaker Pro goes to the background.
• Lock any workstation behind the active application when FileMaker Pro is in the background, or choose to never lock the workstation when FileMaker Pro is not active.
