Claims Submission with
PracticeMaker®
HIPAA and PracticeMaker®
electronic claims: Since 2004, PracticeMaker has been able to create
the latest ANSI X12 4010A1, HIPAA compliant file for electronic claims
submission (called the 837 Health Care Claim Professional). Our software is able
to translate the 835 in-bound file (Health Care Claim Payment/Advice) into a
human readable remittance document, as well as the 997 initial acknowledgement
document and the 277 Claim Acknowledgement file.
Submitting claims electronically gets
faster payments with less paperwork. PracticeMaker®
allows you to establish direct connections with as many
carriers, or clearinghouses, that
you wish. We are up and running
across the country with local insurance carriers. Ask us about the carriers in your
region.
For claims that need to
go through a clearinghouse...
- For the submission of claims through a
clearinghouse, we are your
sponsor with iPlexus.
There is a one time setup fee from us per provider that allows unlimited
commercial
claim submissions. The clearinghouse does have a monthly $40 fee for claim
submission. You will need to contact them about current pricing at www.iplexus.net.
